Kate Ragan

Kate Ragan is a current Sophomore at Elon University where she is pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre, and her BA in Cinema and Television Arts with a focus in screenwriting. She is currently based out of North Carolina in a small town 1 hour east of Raleigh called Goldsboro. Kate found theatre at a very young age and gleaned joy from telling stories— she will never run out of words- of stories she found compelled to share with whoever would listen.

Kate believes in the multihyphenate artist and being a well-rounded person, artist, and academic. She values ambition and passion, accompanied by compassion, and authenticity in workspaces for cast, crew, and creatives.

When she is not on stage or in dance classes, she finds joy in photography, taking and teaching yoga classes, watching psychological horror movies, and playing with her cat, Tucker. Her other passions in life have led her to take on a double major in Cinema and Television Arts with a focus on screenwriting. Storytelling has always been a part of her and she still has so many stories to tell.
